When I came to you in August, I was a 58-year-old man weighing 279 pounds, and wearing a size-52 pants and a size-19 shirt. Four months later, I'm still 58 years old, but now wear a size-38 pants and 16 shirt. To date, and only with the help of you and your wonderful “team,” I have lost nearly 70 pounds. As an insulin-dependent diabetic, I was taking 30 units of insulin before each meal. Now I barely take 5. I have also cut other medications (diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol) in half.
